I write this as voting begins in the US.
It is going to be a close race and watched around the world. Most of the world may prefer Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, but what do US voters say ?
If Donald Trump wins will he actually make significant changes (about-turns ?!) in Economic and Military / Co-operation policies ? Or has his talk been bluster ? Does he have real concrete plans that are workable to the benefit of American citizens in both the short-term and long-term ? His voters will expect quick returns (short term) but the policies should not derail the US Economy and Military might (long term).
Hillary Clinton may maintain the status quo which the rest of the world is familiar with. Her win will be a shot-in-the-arm for women's rights activists as well.
